Protective Services
A system of activities is provided to assist older persons who are seriously impaired, and because of mental and/or physical dysfunction, are unable to carry out the activities of daily living and to protect themselves from neglect or hazardous situations.
Twenty-four hour, on-call
staff members provide emergency service in situations of actual or threatened
abuse and are trained to detect, reduce and eliminate abuse, neglect,
exploitation and abandonment of the elderly.
