Our Mission
To enrich the lives of older adults in Mercer County and enable them to maintain their independence through an array of programs and services.
Our Goals
- To help older adults maintain the highest level of
independence possible;
- To provide education and information on issues which
affect the lives of older adults;
- To emphasize the delivery
of preventative health services and the promotion of healthy lifestyles;
- To address the unmet needs of older adults and
families;
- To assist in the coordination of family and community
supports;
- To emphasize access to and delivery of care to older
adults of greatest social and economic need;
- To ensure the rights of older adults to be free from
abuse, neglect and exploitation; and,
- To monitor and evaluate the quality and quantity of services to insure accountability.
