Apprise
The Apprise Program is a program administered through the Agency, designed specifically to help individuals age 60 and older with all types of health insurance, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private policies such as Long Term Care and Medicare Supplement Insurance.
Staff and volunteers help answer questions about benefits, provide easy to understand information, help alleviate confusion about forms and make referrals to appropriate resources when needed, as well as to educate consumers as a protection against fraud and abuse.
The service is available at all Agency locations.
Home visits are made upon request to individuals who are essentially confined to their residence.
