About Legal Assitance

The Agency can provide resources for legal aid for older adults in the community who are low income and do not have the means to secure the help of an attorney. Services are not provided for divorce, property settlements, family disputes, etc. Legal services are provided through referral to Northwest Legal Services or the Mercer County Bar Association.

Also provided are educational programs on legal or related issues to older consumers at Agency senior centers.

Pennsylvania SeniorLAW Helpline 1-877-PA SR LAW (1-877-727-7529) - The Pennsylvania SeniorLAW Helpline is a toll-free, state-wide, legal information, advice and referral service for Pennsylvanian's age 60 years and older.  The helpline is administered by the SeniorLAW Center in Philadelphia.  Click below for more information.
